Join Flatiron School as one of our data science instructors demonstrates the basics of running simulations in Python.

If you’re curious about how data scientists are able to program algorithms to make predictions, this workshop will teach you the basics of machine learning algorithms, how they're able to identify patterns, and learn from data.

What you’ll learn:

• Basic Python syntax
• How to use functions to group processes
• Demonstrating how to build up larger functions from smaller pieces
• Using Simulations to track data (ie: the outcomes of the simulations)
• Showing conclusions / visualizations based on the experiment

Who is the workshop for?

No experience is required to attend! If you’ve had some experience with Python or coding in general, there is still a lot to learn from this workshop. This is a no-strings-attached opportunity for you to gain technical knowledge and find out if data science is something you’re passionate about. Just show up, and learn something new!
