Intro to Product Design: User Flow Diagrams Workshop

November 22, 2021
6pm ET/3pm PT
60 minutes

Join Flatiron School for an introductory workshop on creating user flow diagrams to map out how users experience a product.

User flow diagrams are used primarily by product teams to understand the step by step of the user journey and helps them find opportunities and different decision points that could affect the end user experience.

For this workshop, we’ll tackle the following problem: A fast food restaurant wants to make their ordering process more efficient and decrease the time it takes from placing the order to pickup.

The deliverables at the end of the workshop are:

  • Initial User Flow
  • Revised User Flow
  • Lo-Fidelity Sketches

Who is the workshop for?

No experience is required to attend! If you’ve had some experience with product design in general, there is still a lot to learn from this workshop. This is a no-strings-attached opportunity for you to gain design knowledge and find out if product design is something you’re passionate about. Just show up, and learn something new!
