At Flatiron School, a core mission of ours is to create a more inclusive, representative tech industry — And the best way to do that is by partnering with companies who share those values. That’s why we’re extremely excited to partner with Excella, an Agile technology firm founded in 2002, to renew the Excella Technology Scholarship - a full scholarship to our On-Campus Software Engineering course at our Washington D.C. campus.
The scholarship will cover the full tuition cost of $15,000 and focuses on women and underrepresented minorities.
The student selected for this scholarship will attend our flagship Software Engineering course. Over the course of 15 weeks, students will train to become software engineers using real developer tools. By the end of the course, students have the hard and soft skills to start their career as software engineers. Applications are now open through September 29, 2019.
“For the second year in a row, Excella is thrilled to provide a scholarship that promotes technology. We believe that the tech community must be more inclusive and we cannot wait to see the impact our scholars will make!”- Steve Cooper, Partner, and Co-Founder of Excella
